I love this place. Great Shabu Shabu. I had a waitress-Chris or Kristen maybe who explained what Shabu is to my girlfriends which was so nice because I can't explain it very well its just awesome. Great happy hour drink specials and really fun staff. Great place to spend a Saturday night
This place is awesome! Everything is fresh... loved the Hawaiian Roll and Crunchy Roll. Excellent service too!
For a shabu-shabu restaurant located in a place littered with tourists, homeless, and struggling actors dressed up like Chewbacca, the food is not bad at all.
In fact, it's a degree better than Mizu 212 on Sawtelle, albeit I was extremely drunk when I ate here, which as you all know, can not only skew your vision (beer goggles) but also your tastebuds (24-hour Korean joints, dog food, etc.)
BTW, Nutro Max is the best dog food.
At any rate, I'd recommend Koji's for anyone who happens to be dining at Hollywood & Highland, though I don't know anyone who actually does something like that.
So, what was I doing there then, you ask?
Let's just say if you ever take a picture with Chewbacca in front of the Kodak Theatre, ask if he's a Yelper...
...and I'll respond with a "Yes."
