| About: | All sushi lovers know that Los Angeles is the best metropolis in America as far as the sushi talk goes. And chef Nobi Kusuhara's decade old practice as owner of Sasabune is as flourishing as ever. A popular lunch spot among teens and the working crowd, you will find most locals waiting for sumptuous sushi and sashimi in the spacious room. Notice the pattern in which the fish is cut and the almost perfect absence of oil in your Hamachi, which is just one of the magnanimous treats of the master chef. Why not go all the way to savor the Midas touch? |

If you expect something better quality sushi, I never recommend this place. You'll be dissapointed. Some of raw fish of sashimi really stinks and obviously over priced. In addtion, their recommending Omakase menu differs American from Japanese as other Japanese sushi place does. Off course the menu for Japanese is better than American but so expensive according to my Japanese friends.
I highly recommend Suhi Gen in Little Tokyo.
If you live near LAX, the best sushi is Yokohama's in Culver City in the shopping center at Washington Blvd. and Overland. It's the only place I request to go. Huge rolls and great sushi for the money. Check it out. Shawna, Westchester, CA
I think the best sushi house is a little hideaway off the 138 headed toward silverwood lake. There is not too many people who know about ,every is fresh and made infront of you.believe me you will love it.
