About:This restaurant means business: it offers all the American cuisine classicsfrom patty melts to root beer floatsfor consumption at their 50s-style counter or in booths that scream retro diner. There's also the quintessential soup, salad, and sandwich trio of options on the menu, with daily specials to spruce things up. The waiters are a bit glum and constantly in a rush, but on the plus side customers never have to wait for a table. While The Brite Spot calls itself a "family restaurant," groups of angsty rock-and-rollers are more likely to be spotted here than rosy-cheeked families. Either way, it's a great, casual place to grab a hassle-free burger and fries at 3 in the morning. - Michelle Campagna

Love The Brite Spot!! I have been going there for a long time. Since a I was a kid. Altough the look and the menu has changed over the years. A couple things have not changed at The Brite Spot. Service is still great! It's a chill, cool place to grab a bite to eat. And the food is awesome! nothing compares.

The Brite Spot is SO great. Long hours, vegetarian options on almost everything. We particularly love the veggie club with veggie bacon and sweet potato fries - man! You can hang out and not be bogged down by people who think they are important on their cell phones. It's laid back and sometimes slow when you're there at peak hours but every place is during peak hours.
And the red velvet cake is BRILLIANT.
    Highly recommended.
