About:Miceli's restaurant hasn't changed in years because it is perfect the way it is. Sure, it is dark, but some call that romantic. The food is strictly Old World Italian, which means good and not too fancy. The occasional star sighting gets the crowd talking, but the singing waiters (and guests) keep the ears full. You might want to reconsider this place if the singing isn't your thing, however for the one-time tourist and third-generation Italian, you'll have a fantastic evening out. Try this place for lunch as it is apparently relatively unknown.

This Hollywood location of Miceli's is very very low-key. Service was decent, but not good nor great. The singing waiters??? Perhaps a couple servers sang in the shower, but I only heard two for certain. I prefer the Universal City location (4.5 Stars) where every server sings and sings well. This low-volume and quiet Italian bistro only gave us decent food. The overall experience will not have me yearning for anything but the fresh bread rolls made from the same pizza dough they use for their great garlic pizza. I give a neutral rating at best. Go elsewhere; like Universal City Miceli's!

Miceli's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dark sexy warm this is restaurant brings you in inviting you to step into their world and to find yourself in the privacy of a candlelit corner , the food is great and this would be a great place to come on a date , its just so romantic, your time there will freeze and you will want to never leave this dark sexy warm place where the wine bottles are hanging above your head and you can see a glimpse of color that is given by the glow of the candles, but soon the food ends and the drinks are drunk and time has flown by and you have to go home , but the good thing is that you can always come back! and make more moments to rememember both the food and the atmospher! Enjoy!

"Italian food" as imagined using ingredients that come primarily from cans and box mixes.

Our favorite part of the evening was the marginally talented but maximally snooty piano player accompanying a very drunk, very surly man who pretended to sing Sinatra while nursing his martini.

NOT RECOMMENDED unless you don't really care about what you put into your body and enjoy being treated poorly. Some people are into that so...Otherwise, look to Osteria La Buca on Melrose at Wilton for true Italian cuisine and excellent service.

C'mon Private Watkins...Miceli's is a fun place. I've always found the pianist to be talented...some very talented. They can always play any request I throw at them from "Bye Bye Blackbird" to "Lester Leaps In." If you take yourself too seriously, you just won't enjoy Miceli's.
