Been going here for years amd love it. Hands down better than the more expensive Niko Niko down the block-

Great Little Japanese Place: Nestled under the marquee of the Los Feliz 3 theater, and next door to Skylight Books, Mako is a casual place to get a quick bite of simple, inexpensive fare. Great teriyaki chicken or fish, beautiful tempura, and fresh California roll are some of the highlights of their simple menu. Quick, efficient service complements the funky, compact vibe, complete with FM radio next to the grill. It can become a habit!
