Though the outside of this place resembles a run-down hillbilly shack, the interior could not be more inviting to both performers and audiences alike. Dan Akroyd and the other original investors have provided such fine acoustics that few other L.A. clubs of the same size can compete with this place. Check out the popular "Gospel Brunch."     The restaurant was fine. Menu options were standard and prices was very reasonable. What I liked most is that drinks at the bar are half price before 6 p.m. Drinks in the restaurant were not - I recommend buying drinks at the bar and bringing them to your table if your are dining in.

    I attended a show afterwards and disliked that security didn't begin letting anyone to enter the concert area until over an hour after the show was supposed to start. Also, once inside everyone had to wait another thirty minutes before the show started. I paid extra for VIP seating - it would've been nice if we got a discount on drinks/food that was order. Also, the rules say that camera's are not allowed - somehow, many people were able to get them pass security.

    Likes & mild dislikes: The atmosphere was hip without being trendy. It stays crowded so and I am not sure you can always make a reservation. The food was good but the bar was voted best amongst friends. Perfect before a concert for a light appetizer and a drink because the concerts held there are standing room only.!
