| About: | The Improv is one of the most important comedy clubs in the city. Famous artistes such as Jay Leno, Richard Lewis and Damon Wayans perform here as well as talented newcomers and a slew of aspiring comedians. Drew Carey and his co-stars from the Drew Carey Show perform here most Thursday nights. You can order food in the showroom, and it is the only comedy club in Los Angeles with a full bar. Head to the great in-house restaurant that serves Italian-influenced dishes. Tickets are available over the phone or at the Box Office. Call for upcoming shows and headliners. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place is the best comedy club in town. It rivals any New York club 7 days out of the week. There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood is tops in LA. I love going here an seeing the best comics in the world. It has an east coast feel and i take dates here and sit in the back......Jamie Kennedy was the best performer here.............
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsComedy = Awesome, Service = really lacking: Went to the Saturday night showing, had about 4 different comedians and then the headliner was the 5th. All the comedians were pretty funny but the best part is, because there are 5 different ones, if you don't enjoy one there is a good chance you'll like one of the other 4.
Service really blows, good thing it's not really a service orientended business. I go there for the comedy and comedy alone. We ate dinner and everything was normal, food was decent, but when we got in to the show room we didn't even have a waiter.-

great experience: This club hosted a night for kids comedy and it was an incredible show. We were treated well by staff and our dinner before the show was excellent. The burger was fab! Try reviewing the website for the comedians so you will have some idea about what to expect. My experience was great!
