I’m a patient of Doctor Kagan for many years. Glasses and contact lenses have been constant pain in my life. And early this year I finally decided to break free. After an extensive research including couple of other LASIK places (just in case) I made a smart decision to stick with Doctor Arkady Kagan. Other doctors were too brief and inattentive. Dr. Kagan was thorough and detail oriented. Before going forward the surgery he insisted on treating my dry eye problem first. And then, after 2 month when I was finally ready he spent 1.5 hours with me explaining the procedure and the recovering period. I didn’t sleep the night before the “BIG DAY”. When I arrived to the surgical center I was shaking and ready to turn back. But doctor reassured me once more that I’ll be fine. The surgery was quick and painless. Doctor Kagan was fantastic during the entire procedure. Reassuring me the entire time after the procedure he called me personally to see how I was doing. I have never had a doctor who does this. He truly cares about his patients and I always felt he cared for me like his own family. Aftercare was just as great as everything else. He explained what to expect and ever gave me some free eye drops so I wouldn’t have to spend time and money at the pharmacy. I went from being blind as a bat (I was -5.00 before) to seeing like a hawk (I am now 20/15 – better than 20/20 in both eyes). Thank to dr. Kagan and his friendly and nice staff. If you want the very best for your eyes (you only have two), have Dr. Kagan do your LASIK. It will be the best decision you ever make.
