User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsYes, this Golds Gym has great facilities But will screw you when you need to get out of a contract!! I signed up knowing my military husband and I were getting orders soon, the manager said that was fine and all I needed to show was a copy of our orders. There was no military clause in the contract but THE MANAGER assured me that this happens all the time 'no big deal'. Our PSC comes and I go and follow procedures to cancel my membership...all goes well, they make copies, shake my hand and wish me luck. Two months later we realize the money is still coming out..we call and talk to the manager who remembered me and said he would take care of it immediately. Ironically he is 'no longer with them' and five months later I am STILL trying to cancel my membership. They have now changed the story to say that only the military member, not a spouse can get out of a contract without paying the 100 dollar cancellation fee. WHAT???? They have also repeatedly told me that they can not be responsible for what their employees say....who is running this business??? I have been called a liar by the business department and have been ignored. It is a shame to treat a military family like this. We have wasted so much time and money on this and we can not even get them to work with us or even an apology. My husband has been following the advice of a JAG and Gold's gym will not even respond back to letter we send via snail mail. This gym can not be trusted and their lack of respect for the military is evident!!!

the gym is clean nice and fun but just to many gay men there for me so i cancelled my membership Asap..
