The price was good considering the location, but there was a reason for that.
Our room was one that you enter from a balcony; much like a motel (usually in a hotel you enter from a hallway). This was puzzling to me, because if I had wanted to stay in a motel, I would have searched for a hotel.
We stayed for two nights, and for both nights there were not enough towels even though we reserved for that many people (even paying the extra guest fee). When we did ask for towels, the room service person looked annoyed, glared at us, and left without saying a word.
The hotel is old, and it shows in the bathroom. There are stains everywhere, and bathtub felt cramped.
The drains were half clogged and smelled. What kind of smell? If you are familiar with the smell of clogged water pipes, then you know what I mean.
The toilet seats were stained, the floors were dirty, and the bed blanket was thin and uncomfortable.
The air conditioner was an old style using a dial. We had to keep the setting at "high" because "low" or "medium" didn't work. Unfortunately, "high" setting also meant "loud", and I had trouble sleeping.
