Yummy!!!: Everything tastes great at this Pan Asian eatery. Try their Mojitos. The best I have EVER had. The Miso eggplant and the lettuce cups are among my favorites. Every friend I've taken here has become a true fan.
Worked for my belly!: We went to Buddha's Belly on a Saturday nite. We called ahead to make reservations, but they only take down reservations for a group of 6 or more. . We sat down at their bar and ordered couple of drinks while we waited for our table. The mojito that we ordered was just out of the world. It was very fresh and had the right amount of mint. The lychee soju was also good, but I think mojitos is the speciality here. The restaurant is pretty big and they have a nice heated patio also. Some nig paper lanterns hang above the main dining space. What we really liked was that it was a a nice-scene place to go to but with a very relaxed vibe. After abt 5 mins, the friendly waitress guided us to our table. The menu is not very extensive but they have all the best items from each part of the asian continent. We ordered the japanese egglpant with sweet miso appetizer which was really good. For the main course we ordered the ginger fried rice (which i highly recommend!), the pad thai and the green curry. We were very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The green curry was very flavourful and very mild even though the waitress said it would be spicy. The portions are huge and everything was very reasonably priced. The turnover was also very fast.
Overall a really nice experience...food, service, staff, space everything was great. Will definitely go back with more friends for a nice casual fun evening.
Buddha's is very ZEN!: This Asian fusion full-service restaurant features very cleanly cooked meat and seafood, friendly, laid-back servers (the owner was there one night, came to our table, and was very nice to us) and a relaxed atmosphere, even when it's full (like on Sat nights)... I've been there over 10 times and always enjoy it. Favorite dish: spicy peanut noodles!
