The sound quality is excellent from any point, although binoculars are suggested. The summer home of the L.A. Philharmonic since 1922 and the home of its very own Hollywood Bowl Orchestra since 1991, numerous guest stars from Itzhak Perlman to Tony Bennett perform their selections in this much loved, relaxed concert alternative. A great place to hear great music. I was just here over the weekend for the reggae festival. The music was amazing and I love the fact that you can bring in snacks and goodies to keeping you grooving all night long. The crowd is usually pretty cool and respectful and everyone is just there to have a good time. This last trip we decided to have a few vans pick up a group of us and bus us in which worked out well because it eliminated the worst part of the bowl â the traffic.
Awesome Experience!: This is a fantastic place for a date, or just a fine girl's night. Bring a bottle of wine, some good food, and some candles, and you have yourself a classy tailgating experience before a good concert outside in the amplitheatre of the Hollywood Hills. Awesome!
a classic.: Not only is taking a picnic and a cheap bottle of wine to a nighttime concert at the Hollywood Bowl one of the quintessential Los Angeles experiences, but venue has been featured in Beaches, Some Kind of Wonderful _and_ Xanadu. Top that, Staples Center.
