| About: | Trader Vic's is a popular nighttime spot features a delicious Polynesian bar and menu selection. It's a traditional tiki bar straight out of the 1960's with tropical fruit drinks galore and a decor to match. Listen to music by the likes of Don Ho and watch the trendsetters pack the place on weekends and most weeknights. This is an experience you won't forget and feels strangely "L.A." even though the decor and menu are decidedly foreign. |

Will definitely go back: What a great restaurant! We had reservations for 8:00 p.m. on a Friday night but wanted to eat earlier. When we got there they said if we wanted to sit in the bar area we could be seated right away. We chose to do this and was not the least bit disappointed. The service was wonderful and the food was great! This is definitely a place to go when in the Beverly Hills area.
Great food and Mai Tais! Can't wait to go back!: My date...well, my wife...and I recently ate at Trader Vics at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. They have great food and atmosphere, with exceptional service and attention. I fondly remember a trip to a Trader Vic's in Atlanta when I was a child, and that made me want to try eating here. It was just as good as I remembered it, though the decor is less Tiki themed as I recalled. We started with their signature Mai Tais, then had the Cosmo's Pupu Platter (spareribs, bbq pork, crab rangoon, coconut shrimp). I had the Hawaiian Pork Chop and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass--both exceptional. With dinner, we had the Scorpion for two cocktail. For dessert, we had the baked alaska; plus a very strong coffee cocktail for me, and a Brandy Alexander for her. They're open late. Very recommended! Enjoy!
Nice Crowd: Not pretentious. Nice people, doesn't feel local though, but I am not a 90210 local.
