Best Sushi Outside Of Japan: Matsuhisa, located in Beverly Hills, has the best sushi bar outside of Japan. Reservations are highly recommended and as a rule of thumb it is also recommended to have more than sufficient funds as this is not your everyday family-type of restaurant!
One from Tokyo: I was told by a friend ( a Tokyo native) about Matsuhisa. He said it was the "best sushi in L.A." and I have to agree. I have been there three or four times. He was right.
Go to Hide Sushi!: Seriously, this was so overpriced, plus the fish, which is obviously high quality, is destroyed by sauces that don't belong. A true sushi lover would never like this place....the title says it all!
