Paradise Cove Beach Cafe is a delightful treat for visitors and residents of Malibu. Located at the beautiful Paradise Cove Pier, they offer breathtaking views, incredible service, delicious food and a casual atmosphere.
Absolutely one of the best casual restaurants that I have been to in a long time. Everyone treated us with the best customer service. I had their veggie burger and it was one of the best that I have ever tasted! Yummy! My only suggestion is have a bigger dinner menu but above all I was fully satisfied and so we our guest. We love the location, it was very beautiful great on first dates! Thanks so much Paradise!
This place is a GEM! It is a gorgeous spot for a restaurant. It is located right on the beach in Malibu, has a pier for viewing or fishing, and is next to a stunning bluff. The trees and red flowers also add to the beauty of this paradise. What was new from the last time I was here was an area of bright turquoise beds on the sand, which you can rent, next to the patio of the restaurant. We rented a bed and ordered our lunch to be delivered to us on the bed. Although the menu is limited when you eat out here, we were pleased. We had a couple waitresses. Each girl was very pleasant, and followed through on everything we asked for. The food was delicious, and was bit pricey for lunch. The experience was one I won't forget. Anyone would be impressed with this place. It is an experience you would find on a tropical vacation. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!
I'm stuck between a 3 and a 4 rating here's why I rounded up:
Can't beat the location for a restaurant. Food quality is decent and selection is good. Think Gladstones with the ability to put your feet in the sand while eating.
Went with a very large group (about 40) which can always test the capabilites and quality of any restaurant. Service was better than average and quality of the food looked and tasted fairly consistent among the group. I tried the Kobe ribs which were decent although I had higher expectations due to the quality of the meat. But again, the view certainly seemed to soften things around the 'bone'.
Overall, good destination joint if you are in the area or want a little bit of an experience as one could have in tropical destinations just keep food expectations in line.
