So I called on Thursday evening for an emergency sort-of job, they informed me that they don't work in seal beach-i reminded them that it says otherwise on the website. so the guy tells me it'll be around $65 for the job, instead of roto-rooter which would be hundreds, and that they can send someone out at 7:30 the next morning. I call them at 8, since nobody showed or called, was immediately placed on hold-then disconnected. I call back, i get the voicemail. I call back, someone picks up, begins a long line of curses to his buddy, and promptly hangs up on me. I call back to speak with a supervisor, and get the voicemail...so i called someone else to do the job. SCREW BEST-LINE!

I called Bestline at 7:30 a.m. on a Saturday. They promised arrival between 9-noon. At 2, I called the office and they said they'd have to call the plumber to see where he was and the new expected time of arrival. They asked again what my need was. The office guy said he'd call me back in 5-10 minutes. Nope. I called again an hour later at 3. Still didn't know the story. Finally, a plumber called me at 4 and asked what my service need was. They arrived at 5. He took one look at the kitchen sink pipes and tried to talk me into having them replaced. I reminded him that all I needed was the sink unclogged saying he couldn't simply unscrew the pvc trap...he had to go onto the roof. $49 yes, but a pain in the ass and unethical tricky pressure to try to bump the sale. Will never use again.

I called to have my drain cleaned. Bestline was 20 minutes late but they cleaned
the drain for only $49. I called a plumber out of the yellow pages and he was going
to charge me $95. i'm sure glad I called Bestline. And they gave me a one-year guarantee.
