| About: | This biker's and surfer's local hangout is about as casual as you can get. Order your meal in a cafeteria-style line and pick it up on a paper plate from a window that connects to the kitchen. Still, the seafood and sandwiches are delicious and you can't beat the location, which is just across from the ocean. The dress code is nonexistent, so bring your flip-flops and bathing suit. Try the shrimp, the Fried Calamari or any of the fresh fish plates. |

A hidden treasure. It doesn't look special on the outside and we were very skeptical of eating there - but it had been recommended to us by a local resident so we decided to try it. We drove into the parking lot and were still not sure, until we went around back and saw several limousines parked there. So we gave it a try and what a great surprise when our food came. It was incredibly fresh and delicious. And we had a great time watching the para-sailers across the road and the sunset that evening was gorgeous. If you like fresh seafood this is a great place to get it for a reasonable price.
The first time I went to Neptune's net was back in 1976 I was on at trip to meet my brother-in law to be and I loved it all. (The atmosphere , the food, the people. ) So after having my kids that was our place to go every-time we visited the family. We had a contest on who could eat the most shrimp. It bring back many of good memories, now the my kids are grown and my grand kids will be visting soon, the contest on !!! with three generation of shrimp loving eaters at neptune's net.
