| About: | This famous club is home to some of the best comedians in the world. It has been a mainstay on the comedy circuit for decades. Jay Leno continues to do a show here every Sunday at 7pm. The other nights of the week you can expect only the best comedians. Food and wine are served and reservations are a must. Admission charges change, depending on who's performing. A two-drink minimum also applies. |

User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsOverall had a good experience. The night I went they had 20 comedians for $20 dollar entrance fee. A few were not funny at all but the rest were hilarious. The parking is designated but about a block away from the club.

User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsIn review of the comedy and the magic performed I must give this place five stars because it was a great time for a pretty decent price, around 35 for two people. In terms of their "two drink minimum" I will never return. The last thing I want after going into a club is some jerk off waiter trying to force overpriced drinks on me. ($4 dollar Pepsi). If they would knock off the rough handed tactics of drink purchasing Id probably visit twice or more a month, unfortunately for a couple to go out and spend 20 bucks on drinks on top of dinner and the cover charge, I don't think so. The acts were great, the staff was terrific, albeit the waiters tactics, it was okay. Just be ready to get harassed during the show for drinks.

Ha Ha HA!: The Comedy & Magic Club is usually a pretty safe bet for a good evening out. There is a drink minimum, but oh well. And their dinners are very good, I love their burgers! Nice ambiance, it's hit-or-miss whether or not you'll like the acts, I've seen some really really funny acts & some real embarassing rubbish. Parking is always an issue in Hermosa, if you go, get there early! I recommend going early & eating there, you'll get a parking spot AND a meal.
