I went to "Moon Shadow" restaurant with wife on her birthday . As we came in, we were never greeted. The food was horrible. I specifically asked for well done steak, and after 40 minutes of wait time, I still got it all bloody, asked for chicken... waited for another 40 minutes, chicken was uncooked ........ I was so mad, but since it was my wife's birthday I did not want to make a scene, and mess up the night. I had to literally raise my hand to get the waiter's attention, who looked like very sloppy, and really didnt give a rats ass about anything, I LEFT HER A 50 c TIP FOR HER GREAT SERVICE.... I will never go there again, ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and I would encourage all!!!!!!!! not to go to this idiotic restaurant. BAD SERVICE, BAD FOOD, OVERALL grade FFFF. after spending 120 dollars, they did not even say thanks for coming....just unbelievable how the state lets these restaurants operate under these conditions...... just disgusting thatâs ALLâ¦.

Don't waste your time. If your going to the bar for a drink and to enjoy the view your ok. The hostess and the waitresses were to say the least RUDE. I felt like a child being scolded after we were told to have a sit outside in a booth. We were rudley interagated about who said what and why were we sitting their. They seem to act like they were doing us a favor by letting us spend our money and time their. There are a lot of other restaurants on the coast with great views where you are treated with some respect, even with a friedly smile and GOOD service. Don't bother unless your in to abuse.

Service was terrible! As a Ventura county resident, this place typifies the worst of the "California" attitude. More flash than substance, the Lambourghinis parked outside (there were a bunch, I guess Lambourghini was hosting something or something) definitely don't extend their class into the restaurant. While the hostess with the "Witchy-Hippie" look was nice, the guy we had as a waiter was AWFUL. No waters within 10 minutes, when we finally placed our order, it was 30 minutes before we got our appetizers and this is non-rush, folks. When we did get our apps, they were undercooked and our waiter acted like he had a stick in his butt! We left at that point, after complaining to the management, who actually didnt seem too surprised. Typical L.A. style place for those who are more interested in appearances than anything else. Side note: Who cares if Mel was here? Have some damn service!
Here is another fake one hahahahahahah are u serious??????
Great Chef: The view is beautiful, and the food is extremely delectable. A wonderful way to spend any day!!
Was there in April. Was looking for seafood. Although their menu posted on the website showed alot, that selection was not there the night we went (week night). Food was good, but we had a very push waiter who kept insisting we needed appetizers for the table (there were 8 of us). It was like sell, sell, sell. Had the short ribs, they were great. Food was very slow in coming - hence the waiter kept pushing more wine, etc. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the view as it was was already dark, but still could hear the water. Again, food was good, go when you have time and during daylight hours so you can enjoy the view.
We went for a what we thought would be a seafood lunch as we knew the view would be beautiful. There is such a limited seafood fare and I oredered the shrimp and avacado salad. The sauteed shrimp and avacado were fine but the salad dressing was like eating a jalapeno pepper! I asked the waiter to taste it in the kitchen as something in it was terribly hot. He never left the table and said oh perhaps they put some wasabi in it! It was not edible and I like hot things.....please taste your dressing first. The menu as I said for fish entrees is ZIP! Lovely view but menu needs to be changed at least for lunch..........
