Great food, friendly service, all one could ask for. I had my retirement party here, and everyone loved it.

My son-in-law is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and when he and my daughter moved out here, we suggested he try it. His verdict was, "best he had had outside Louisiana."

Some reviewers should maybe stick to ramen.

This place is not what it's cracked up to be by fellow Yahoo reviewers. The food is mediocre at best and is surprisingly overpriced. I ordered the combo plate which includes rice and beans and gumbo over rice. I was terribly disappointed. The gumbo was overly salty and had no other flavor than the massive amount of sausages that were thrown in. Other than that you could not taste anything else. The red beans were bland and the rice was nothing to rave about. I couldn’t justify the cost to taste ratio: 8-10 dollars for sausage and beans!

This place is awesome. The food is great and very tasty. I love the atmosphere...It's casual and friendly. I wish there was better parking and I wish they stayed open all day instead of closing for a few hours. There are times when a friend and I would decide to go to Ragin Cajun and It will always be around the hours they were closed. Other than that this place is awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel welcome everytime. I've been going to Ragin Cajun for the past 7 years or so. I love it. Keep up the good work.
