| About: | Step into this place and it's as if you have stepped into Italy. The cleverly done decor, cozy stone walls, wooden tables as well as the alfresco seatingall lend to its fabulously quaint look. Most of the cuisine served here hails from the regions of Venice, Florence, Rome and Tuscany. So dig into pizza, pasta, risotti and a host of antipasti as well as hearty soup like the Minestrone Alla Contadina. Try the Insalate with Radicchi Alla Cesare or the Calamari Affogati or any one of the delicious sandwiches such as the Focaccina Con Salmone Grigliato. The obvious drink with Italian food is wine and here bottles come at quite reasonable rates. |

wonderful food. wonderful service.my two sons, daughter-in law, and two grandchildren loved it. we met Paul, the chef. Everyone was very nice and quick to please.
Warm, cozy, romantic. These attributes all describe this beautiful cozy restaurant. We have been going to Allegrias for about 7 years now and are still impressed with the delicious food and friendly service. We always make our reservations ahead of time and request a booth by the window. Although the other seats are not bad we just find the booths more comfy and cozy.
Oh yea, you should ask for extra garlic in the spread that they bring for the bread. Yum Yum!
You will love this place. After dinner (or lunch) a nice walk on the beach is a perfect way to end a simply perfect meal.
Poor Service: I made a reservation on a Thursday for a Saturday. We arrive on time and the man at the counter does not see my name. So they stick us in the worst table near a door to upstairs dining that swings open allowing a draft everytime someone goes through. We ask for a better table, but they say we didn't have a reservation. See, this is what is so annoying: they assumed we were lying. One of our party got pretty mad saying "No, we made a reservation, someone here wasn't doing their job and didn't write it down!", so they give in and seat us at the window. We almost left and in hindsight I wish we would have. Service thereafter was slow and fumbled. Food itself was okay. We were good sports leaving a decent tip, but there was no apology from them, which says to me, they don't care one bit and don't need our business. It was a choice between them and Tra Di Noi, I regret I didn't choose the latter.
