Do not trust any information given to you at this place. I went there for advice on setting up an octopus tank, and left with the wrong equipment and wrong instructions. When I went back to speak with the owner, his wife was extremely rude and not helpful. After a long conversation (she is VERY rude, be aware!) she offered to give me half of the almost $300 I spent there back, which I, of course, did not accept, since they are the ones who do not know what they are doing (and should!). If you know 100% what you are doing, it’s one thing, but if you expect professional assistance, this is the wrong place. They will not be able to help you (because they don’t know anything, but prefer to give out wrong instructions than to be honest with you about it!!), and the owner does not accept responsibility for his employees’ actions, so don’t expect him (or his wife) to be nice, because they are not. Just avoid the place; there are way better options in LA! Wish I had been told this a month ago.
