no VIP here: For alterations, go somewhere else unless you have at least a week to wait for the job to be done. I dropped off my dress on Tuesday to have the straps and hem adjusted, and the seamstress promised that it will be done Friday by 4pm. Guess what, 330pm Friday I was there and the dress was still untouched! I waited until she did the straps, and she totally forgot about the hem, but didn't care about that anymore since I have to be somewhere by 4pm.
