not romantic but food is wonderful: it could be a romantic place to dine but the noise level is so high that it's difficult to hear each other without yelling or leaning closer - which might induce romantic tendencies...i had the special of the day, australian sea bass with a sweet, ginger-soy glaze with tempura veggies. the fish was wonderful! my dessert wasn't as impressive (warm pistachio chocolate-chip cookies) but my husband ordered the chocolate croissant bread pudding which was meltingly dreamy. service was friendly and helpful and the people-watching was excellent.

One of my faves: You have to go for Sushi happy hour, the spicy tuna tartare is an unmatched value at $3. The wait staff is friendly and informative, the food is fresh and innovative. Lately I haven't been wowed by the main courses but the sushi/appetizer (Snapper carpaccio) and dessert (Banana banana banana) can not be beat. Hurry there.

Yep, it's a winner: Great restaurant, but consider going for appetizers and/or desert since both were better than the entrées. Main course was the salmon and had a bite of the overly spicy Korean style tenderloin; both were good, neither was earth shattering. That said the ahi tuna tartar was the best I’ve ever had with relish-like avocado chunks scattered throughout. The lobster enchiladas with cilantro cream sauce were also fabulous as was the sushi (ate the tuna if I recall). Quickly devoured the chocolate chip pistachio cookies which were kinda hard around the edges yet soft in the middle. Oh, and the ambiance was killer as was the service. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing.
