I have a real problem with this place, specifically with Dr. Yuan. During the time I had my pets go to Dr. Yuan, he accidentally overdosed my one year-old dog on an antibiotic resulting in me rushing him to the local emergency hospital (Pet Medical is NOT a 24 hour facility!) and him remaining in grave condition all night with all kinds of tubes stuck into him. He survived, thank God! Dr. Yuan said he would speak to his manager to see if he could refund us the $800 we spent on his ER bill, but of course we never heard about it again. Once he recovered, instead of griping and fighting with Pet Medical, I was just happy to have my baby alive and well. I figured this was a one-time mistake on Dr. Yuan's part, as I've been a client there for years. Then when my other dog was diagnosed with cancer, he performed the surgery to remove his tumors. I came to pick my boy up and just as he was about to come out to me, his sutures ripped open. It happens, I can live with that. But then Dr. Yuan whipped out his stapler and put 11 staples into my dog without any anesthetic! I heard my dog SCREAMING (and I mean screaming, sounds I have NEVER heard a dog make in my life!) Then Dr. Yuan came out and told me about the sutures opening and in the most nonchalant manner I have ever seen, he explained he had to put staples into my dog and that was why he was crying. My 90 pound giant soon came out limping and crying. He was whimpering and collapsed on to me in the waiting room. He was in so much pain, I couldn't believe it! His whimper was this constant panicked moan that never stopped! I've never heard THAT before and I never want to again. All the other clients in the waiting room came up to see what was wrong and were panicked over what was happening. All the while, there were FOUR staff members working on the computers directly facing us. NO ONE noticed my dog laying on top of me whimpering on the ground, at least no one that worked there did! Finally a really rude nurse came out and handed me my dogs once daily pain med. I said "I'm not leaving with my dog writhing in pain like this!" She gave him his first dose and said he should be fine and not to give him any more pain meds for another 24 hours. I spent the night on the floor with my dog that night. We were up every two hours. The writhing agony never stopped. He couldn't walk for the next 15 hours. My 65 year-old mother and I desperately tried to carry him out of the car, but he was too heavy. What kind of doctor sends a patient home in that much pain?!? We have since switched to Dr. George. He is wonderful and seems like he actually knows more about taking care of animals than you do! He is the reason I'm giving this facility TWO stars instead of one!I As for the rest of the facility, about half of the bills they gave me over the 10 years I've been a client, were incorrect (in their favor). Also, every time you call, you get put on hold and have to go through a hurried panic with someone picking up the phone every 20 seconds and asking "Pet Medical, have you been helped?" UGH!!! I am so tired of this nonsense! All of you that read this have been warned!!!!

We tried 3 different places before we fell in love with this place!! Great staff, great vets, professional, friendly, responsible. I always recommend them to my pickiest of friends.
