As you enter, you notice the large Buddha statue smiling benignly at you. I really dig the atmosphere and the decor of this place! The crowd varies from laid back, artsy types to the young professionals crowd on the trendier side of life. But all in all there is 9 out of 10 times a great live band playing and a really cool vibe floating around. The only complain I have is the bartenders and their untimly manner in which they serve your drinks. I once stood there for over 20 minutes trying anything I could think of doing to get noticed to order a beer. Once ordered, it took another 10 minutes to get my warm brew. It is not always this bad, but they are definitely lacking in the skilled bartenders department.

I lOVE THIS PLACE! I have been looking for a live R&B lounge for a long time. This place has a variety of performers, and everyone i seen so far are great. I went home with their CD everytime. I discovered my new favorite R&B singer there DANIEL(IF HE DOES NOT MAKE IT BIG TIME NO ONE SHOULD!). If you like R&B, I suggest you check this place out. You might find me there drinking a screwdriver, chilling, and grooving to some awesome music. PEACE

This is a great place to listen to music from bands that you've never heard of but will leave loving. Most weekends they have cool jazzy fun music that is played in a sectioned off room from the bar. It gets very crowded (like call the fire marshall crowded) so be warned that if you don't like to be pushed around a bit this may not be the place for you. It is like a piece of the sunset strip dropped itself in the middle of Santa Monica.
