awesome upscale restuarant on wilshire in the S, love the atmosphere and the food quality, great for a date, meals are large and artistic, everything is very expensive, breakfast/brunch is the best value. they do breakfast better than the ritz carlton at an affordable price (compared to their lunch/dinner prices)
Recommended: Filet was excellent.
Yahoo! local listing says its open until 2am, but a sign outside said 24 hours and our server confirmed they had just started serving a full menu all night recently.
Not exactly your standard 3am, last stop fare, but its good to know that you can get a quality meal around the clock in Santa Monica.
Recommend the grilled artichoke starter and the sauteed green beans alongside a steak. Generally not a big chocolate souffle fan, but it was well prepared.
Overall: good service, old-school steakhouse ambiance and quality food if a bit pricey.
Good, but don't go on your own dime: Very elegant and cozy too, like an old great uncle's living room. Decent food, very pricey. Caveat: I don't eat meat, and that's pretty much the main attraction. So steak eaters will probably enjoy the food much more.
