    Are you kidding me? Casual? Reasonably priced? SO not the case here. Don't get me wrong - the food was adequate. For Houston's. My husband loved his steak and my grilled lobster was good; the mushroom soup was fantastic. But seroiusly $220.00? Ridiculous. Add to that the $7.50 valet parking...Nice dinner? Yes. Returning? No.

    The BEST steak in America, period. It is the best restaurant in America. The steaks are grilled over an open wood-burning fireplace that sits about 4 1/2 feet from the floor, encased in the wall, You can watch your steak from across the room being grilled to perfection, as the candle lit room flickers with the romance of a night in Roma. They simply have the best of everything. From the beginning to of your night you won't want to end. If you can't find a wine of your choice--whether by region or vintage or taste then you must be from another planet. It truly is like being in Italy.

    Another nice touch is that Bruce doesn't allow you to use your cellphone inside. He has a nice classy little sign in the entry before you go through the black velvet curtain...so everyone's treated the same, no matter how big your star or car.

    It would be the place for my last supper. Heaven.

    Are you looking for...: Are you looking for a fine authentic Italian dining experience? We spent our first night in Santa Monica at Capo and were truly captivated by the food, wine, and atmosphere. Not to be missed.
