Daily Pint

I have been a patron of this bar for over two years. This evening, the supposed owner overcharged me on a tab and refused to provide me an itemized receipt saying "we do not do that here". I was respectful and was met only with anger and escalation of the situation. All I asked is that he itemized what I payed for. I left under duress, he said I should never come back again. I am issuing a warning to all of those who are considering patronizing this bar. Make sure you carefully check exactly what you order and keep a tab in your head. Depending on the holiday or how busy the bar is, your bill may fluctuate.

I really thought this place was cool to hang out. Buy my frinds and I noticed, after serveral times, giving our credit card as an open tab, that the bartender actually scams you on the bill. You heard correct he actually adds 2-3 more drinks on it and you bills would be higher then you expect. If you do like this place just don't give your cc.
We stop going there due to that. I do like the schuffle boards though.

Great dive bar in Santa Monica: The Daily Pint is a great local pub. It's kinda sketchy and has a distinct odor, but is filled with colorful people and a great beer/liquor selection. They recently expanded their scotch shelf and added more taps. Pool tables, shuffle board, video golf, lots of TVs. Get to know Phil at the bar and enjoy some of your favorite suds. If you're hungry, you can get food delivered. There is no food at the bar.
