Lighten up Lilli: I've been here a ton and I don't think the service is all that bad. The food is very solid - they actually usually serve their pasta al dente and not oversauced. True italian style pizzas - the dough is fresh and simple and the toppings are great - again a light touch on the sauce. They have great bread that they include with salads and pastas.
We go here twice a month: This is our new favorite neighborhood restaurant on the west side. I frequently get the proscuitto and goat cheese pizza or the Scampi Curry, which is so comforting. We feel very comfortable here and even brought our daughter there when she was 6 days old. Don't miss the sorbets or lemon hazelnut cake for dessert!
We can wait (forever) to go back: Not bad if you are used to eating Mc Donalds every day. Their panini are super salty, the balsamic vinegar is extremely acidic and lacks the expected slight sweetness of a nice aged balsamic vinegar. I would say that the pizza is the only decent thing that they have. The service is the worst imaginable, young men with chips on their shoulder glare with jealousy at you as you place your order, leaving you to wonder if they spit in your food.
