Not like the traditional Mexican food like Mexican Cafe or Pescadora, etc. The chips are warm and fresh and the beans there are soooo good. We have had a long wait a couple times so give yourself some time there. The ambience and art work is very rustic and sets the mood for the great food to come. A Whittier Gem!!

Zumaya's...zulicious!: On a budget yet looking for a tasty, authentic Mexican meal? This is THE place to go. The mole enchiladas are just like mom's. Tired of the usual beans and rice sides at other Mexican restaurants? Opt for the rice and calbacitas! This is a great place to take friends or family to as no one will push you out of the place -- great for lingering. Take your time and enjoy the Frida prints on the walls. Everything on the menu is great and not overly greasy.

Great exican food and a resonable price. THe Mole' is really good.
I was a customer before and never had a problem with customer service. I had went there and was standing right in front of the counter and no one asked if i been help for about 15 mins. I had to ask if someone can help me. Since then i have not went back. I was a normal customer going about 2 to 3 times a week.I dont know what was the problem that day but there were younger people working that day but thats no excuse.
