My daughter and her two cousins attend the stanton learning center and since being there all three have blossomed so much. My daughter started there because the daycare I had her at was not teaching her the right tools she needed to get ahead for her age and as for me I teach her as much as I know, but since being there my daughter has learned more in this past year then she did at the daycare, she looks forward to going to school every morning and she has now been there 1 1/2 years. My little neice came in the later part of last year and just by being there it bought her out of her little shell, she is now at a point were she is walking, talking and interacting with everyone and her big brother just started this year and he too is out of his shell if it was not for Ms. Charity and her staff I don't know were I would have put them. The staff here at the Stanton Facility is excellent with the children and always keeping you updated on everything. I for one and my neice would like to say thank for teaching and helping with our children of the future.

My two children attended this school for about a year. In that time I was very unhappy with the school. There were no drinking fountains outside, when I would pick up my son he would be begging for water. They occasionally offer a squirt in the mouth of a bottled water. They never clean the kids..I have picked them up covered in mud, covered in dirt, with lunch still on there face. One time I picked up my son who had had a high fever and was left alone sitting on the sidewalk SICK and no one even called me! I have witnessed teachers cussing at children and carrying small toddlers by there arms. And in the summer they don't even run the air because apparently the director Karen is too cheap to turn it on. The only time I noticed the air being on was when the director was out of town. The playground is a parking lot transformed into a playground with no grass area for the kids to play. If you love your kids you will not enroll them in this school.

    Confused - 09/12/08
Why would any parent keep their child here if they really witnessed even one of these atrocious accusations? Pretty poor parenting in my opinion

Also confused. My children have been attending there for several years and I have NEVER seen any of these things happen. Everytime I go there the air is on unless it is when the kids are outside in the afternoon then why does it need to be on. The teachers are always loveing. My kids love it there. M child was sick a few weeks ago and I got a call right away. It sounds like someone pissed you off and you are taking it out on the school. And regarding the water they even have tubs for the kids to but water bottles brought from home outseide so they can help themselves when ever needed. So it sounds like your children didnt help themself or you didnt care enough to send them a bottle of water for the school to keep full. Overall its a great school and I would keep my kids there forever if they didnt grow up.

My family has used Stepping Stones for 7 years now. Karen is very welcoming and great with the kids. The staff are very friendly but sturn when needed. The education is very high. I would not change daycares for anything.
