User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI made an appt in advance on the phone, and asked the girl to call my Catalina hotel the day of my massage if she had to get in touch with me. Did they? No. I found a message on my home phone after I came home from vacation! I showed up 10 minutes early for my massage but I had to wait out on the sidewalk for 20 minutes because the door was locked! That's unprofessional. I had a massage with a male masseuse who was dressed in surfer shorts and black sneakers. I didn't know that was the new uniform for a professional therapist. I asked him not to get oil in my hair and he insisted that a scalp massage was part of the session. What about giving the client what the client is paying for?? He spent a LOT of time fussing with the sheets every time he had to move them. It was really distracting.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIt can not get better than this!!!!: Indeed, the spa is a complete full experience of services, some done right by the beach!!!
In your next visit to Catalina Island, plan ahead and have an even better time in Avalon by going to the Island Breeze Spa.
