Three weeks ago I brought eight dress shirts to Joseph's Dry Cleaner because he was local. After I paid my shirts and I asked the owner pricing questions, and he reluctantly pointed to the board and said "there is pricing" and walked away without answering my question. Talk about your "Friendly customer service!
I took out one of shirt this week and I noticed that the owner has written my last name on the inside of my shirt with black sharpie marker. I checked the rest of my shirts and he has written on all of shirts. I took my shirts to Joseph's Cleaner and told the owner this situation.
He answered "Other dry cleaner uses tag, and this is our policy: we write on the inside of customer's shirts." I checked on the back of my receipt and there wasn't any written policy or company's instructions. I further explained to the owner "some of my shirts are NEW!" The owner replied "it is written inside" and had a facial expression implying "so what, no big deal."
The owner unwilling to admit his mistake and did not make an effort to take care of the problem, and I said to the owner "I am going to report you to the Better Business Bureau" and to my dismay he says Go Ahead!"
To all of you who have patiently read my review, I strongly urge to take your clothes / garment else where and DO NOT GO TO JOSEPH'S Cleaner, because the owner treats his customers with disrepect and he will ruin your clothes.
I decided to take a sweater to this cleaners since it's local. When I went in to pick up my dry cleaning, the owner found the price of my order and charged me. He gave my my dry cleaning and informed me that the zipper broke. The zipper was missing two teeth and the actual part you pull up and down was busted off. He claimed that he just tried to zip it up and it broke like that. Yeah right. Too bad he couldn't just be honest.
