We just finished eating at Mexico 1900 and my boyfriend and I were having a sweet tooth. We turned and saw this lady with a big smile waving at us to come in to try a sample of her fresh baked Red velvet cupcake. She introduced herself, âHi Iâm Mrs. Calas.â Once we took the first bite we were hooked. We ended up getting a dozen cupcakes (Redvelvet and Chocolate Mocha). We highly recommend this place the compliment of the cake and frosting were most amazing flavors and the best thing was it wasnât to sweet.

Their cupcakes and cakes are TERRIBLE. The cake is dry with absolutely no flavor, and because they refrigerate them, the frosting is hard and slides right off the top.

Their decorating skills are pretty decent, but what's the good in that if the cake itself sucks?

The store itself seems dirty and hastily thrown together. I really tried to give them a chance because I like to support small, local businesses, but two visits is two too many. Save yourself the trouble and go to Beverly's Best or Pastries by Nancy.
