The person at the service department was not very helpful at all when I asked for service to my car. Actually, the battery to my vehicle has died the other day and I arrived there after having my car jumped. I told the individual at the service department that my vehicle battery has died and I needed a new one installed. I also mentioned that it is a Toyota brand with 84 months warranty that was installed few years ago by another Toyota dealership that I do not recall. Unless I show him a receipt he was not going to help with the warranty. I asked him to look up in his database the date of purchase so he can provide me a prorated amount for the battery to be installed. He stated that he can't look it up unless it was bought at Norwalk Toyota and asked me to go to another leadership or directly the dealeship that installed it. Eventually, under duress I drove to Power Toyota in Cerritos, California. They were courteous enough to look up the vehicle service record and then proceeded to install the battery after prorate, although it was not initially installed there. They even provided me with a copy of my vehicle service record.
Norwalk Toyota, please train your staff accordingly to avoid the aggravation of your customers!!!!
The person showing us the Scion was very friendly. All the other personal at this dealership have no manners and seem to me incompetent to present a fair trade in value, did not reveal the sales price for a Corolla LE, my wife and I had decided on but asked us questions to fill out a sales contract. No figures were ever presented. Naturely we left.
I do not think they are used to deal with elderly, civilized and informed people. He also asked how much money we owed on the Camry and not if we owed any. What a stupid assumption.
