I had the Pollo a la Brasa since I am on a quest to try every Peruvian Chicken place in and around Los Angeles. Nory's was a little disappointing. The flavor was just not all there. The Aji, though, is very good. I can only assume that the rest of the menu must be good. I will give them another try in the future.
Nory's spoils you. I have been going to this wonderful place for 20+ years. Friendly warm staff. Fantastic food that your taste buds will crave. I now have to drive 6 hours to get there, and from time to time, we take a trip just for Nory's.
The green sauce with warm bread starts everything.
Pescado de Jalea is a mountain of delicate crispy friend shrimp, scallops, potatoes, yucca and more. A purple onion salsa goes on the hot fish and releases its sweetness. The hidden red snapper filet at the bottom of the pile gets to soak up the lime juice to perfection.
Shrimp and Garlic: heaven on a plate.
Lomo saltado: steak, tomatoes and french fries together as we never new possible, but are ecstatic that they did.
Sopa a la minuta is simple but I want it when I don't feel good. Every mother should have such a restorative cure on the store. Simpe flavors prepared well.

Where is my Inka Kola? Time for a road trip...
