User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI gave Thai Silk a five for it's lunch takeout since because I din't eat dinner here to compared it for dinner purposes. I came here around 2 pm and the place wasn't crowded. It' is located on busy Broadway so you can not find easy parking at night but pretty okay during the day. The place itself is not very big but it does have a decent dining rooom. I would not reccommend this place for a huge party unless you can get the whole restaurat.
I ordered takeout and got a vegetarian Pad Thai. The person who took my order asked if I wanted my order to come with egg or not which I thought that important for someone who wanted a vegetarian dish.
The amount of food that they gave for the meal was huge. I can not wait to go back again. Maybe for dinner if I am lucky with the parking.-

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever had. I lived across the street for 2 months last year and ate here at least twice a week. The people got to know us pretty well and remembered what we liked to order. They were very nice and the service was always great.
I loved the Tom Kha Kai soup, Fried Shrimp, Pad See Ew Chicken, Spicy Noodles Chicken, and the Chicken Masaman Curry.
Oh, and last I checked it was BYOB!
PS, I believe they are THAI SILK not silk thai.. -

My wife and I went to this restaurant with a hope for decent food. Food was horrible. Red curry didnt looked like red curry but something else. Fried rice was full of oil, dripping actually. Ordered spinach salad but spinach looked very old and not too good.
Brown rice was too dried up, as if it was cooked 2 days ago.
Water was not good. I peeped in to the silver water jugs. Yuk :(
We end up wasting the food. Both of us ended up with stomach ache, upset stomach. We suffered a lot. Anyone with health conscious, please do not go to this shitty restaurant. Wish department of health pays a visit to this place and take action
