User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat to buy: I have purchased several big ticket items, both a dining room table with hutch and a baby grand piano. The service and accommodations were great. I wouldn't suggest selling anything to them because they are good at getting things for rock bottom, thus the reason why the deals are great. With that said, I am not a heavy user of Antique stores, however, I have made this one part of my first visits when I want something. Today, there is too much pressed wood and veneer finishes, as well as, a purpose to retro everything. Why not just get authentic wooden pieces that will carry resale value? Russ and his wife have a varied selection, but lean heaviest towards large wooden pieces for the front room or bedroom, along with more office furniture than you can shake a stick at. With a mix of collectables that are either valuable or would make a killer retro design, you will find the visit well worth the cultural experience.

I love it there: I have worked there for most of my life and never get sick of it. They have things that you have probably seen at youre parents house or in a movie. The people who work there are people who will brighten youre day and when you get there you almost never seem to want to leave. From my past time being there if you see something you want buy it cuz other wise it will probably be gone the next day or two.

I found my duncan phyfe table & chairs, antique livingroom sofa, 50's waterfall hi-boy dresser, had a custom office desk made and got a chinaware setting of "Franciscan Ivy". I walked away with a whole houseful of furniture used and new for pennies on the dollar of what I would have paid at a department store.
