| About: | Kings Fish House in Long Beach is a modern take on the fish houses of New Orleans. All the 7 nights a week you can get creole tinged seafood dishes, like scallops or crab, as well as animals that don't fare to well in water, like steak and chicken. The interior has a very rustic-southern feeling, emphasized with pictures of blues legends and 1940's posters. All in all, it's a great way to enjoy fresh seafood in a complimentary environment. |

This place was excellent! I back in December because I was in town visiting some family in Long Beach. To this day, I still remember my server's name. Jackie. I am going to be returning in June and hope she still works there. She was very attentive and really knew the menu. Oysters were excellent! She suggested the artichoke and it was amazing! I am so glad I went there and I make sure to tell all my business associates and family members about this place and about the great experience me and my wife had. I can only hope that my next experience there will be just as good.
I went here to eat with my husband yesterday(Saturday) before going to a bar and I was completely enjoying my seared ahi steak dinner with cooked spinach when whole and behold there was a cooked ladybug in my spinach. Unfortunately I couldn't finish my plate and I told a waitress about it. My waitor, Andres, came and apologized and offered to replace the dish. I said no thank you and then he left. Then the floor manager named Justin came and was very sorry for the situation. He offered us desert, extra drinks and took care of dinner for us aside from the beverages. Although there was an insect in my plate, I really did enjoy my dinner up to that moment. I would definitely go back as long as I know I wont have bugs in my plate again. As a matter of fact, I am so pleased with the way the situation was handled I would take my chance. Just be sure to check your cooked spinach for ladybugs!
As a side note: Andres my waitor was very attentive, funny and knowledgable, (great service)..the hostess was very nice also, she seated us even when they were going to close in 15 minutes.
ate with my girls there a couple of months back. The oyster shooters were great, we ended up ordering twice for 'em! Atmosphere nice and calm on a week night, probably not during the weekend. A must-try.
