Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: I hadn't been to the theater for a few years. When I sampled it this summer I was pleasantly surprised to see it had been renovated without losing the charm. And the surrounding area has made it a destination for before and after the movies. Fantastic

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: There's no better way to see a movie than in your community art theater. My partner and I take a stroll just a few blocks to the theater to see what's new. Not only is the theater full of charm so is the entire block. You can enjoy a glass of wine or coffee right next door. Perfect theater for a date!

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: This theater makes seeing movies fun again! They have a great selection of independent, smaller, documentary and classics. The service is friendly and there's a great little wine bar just outside the theater. Kudos to the Art and the merchants in the area known as Retro Row. While the City of Long Beach, specifically the Redevelopment Agency was busy pouring all our tax money into that downtown disaster (better off just dumping it into the Pacific Ocean) we call the Pike, 4th Street between Cherry and Junipero quietly evolved into a hip little community of shops, restaurants, coffee and movies.
