HotJava Great Coffee WiFi Place! Gay friendly. (Sometimes more gay fun here than local bars.) Espresso, pastries, grilled sandwiches, Lots seating in and out. Big tables for small Group Meetups. Weekly mtg reservations avail. Some comedy nites, bingo, show. Arrive early for good table!

Customer Service goes a long way: As a coffee aficinado, I am a self proclaimed snob when it comes to espresso drinks. I love the fact that each time I come into Hot Java, there is no consistency in drink preparation amongst the various baristas. As anyone who drinks coffee knows, consistency is key...a definable trait Starbucks has put out there for the community. The coffee house needs to further train their baristas on how a latte or a plain ol' mocha should be prepared, because the final product lacks that certain attention to detail.

There are definite plusses for Hot Java, for instance the liveliness of it all, the ability to sit on the front patio, and it's cheery. The restrooms on the other hand, are something to be desired. Toilets that don't flush correctly, poorly stocked papergoods.
