I expected it to be a little more packed but it was a Thursday night and we went there to see the San Antonio band id (not I D, pronounced just as it looks). Locals were great, everyone was having a good time, drinks were worth the money...SUPA STRONG!
Alex's bar has a great punk atmosphere and I love the wall art!!

I went here the other night to catch Channel 3. What a neat joint. Plenty of cheap beer. Plenty of great songs played by the DJ in between acts. They also have a pool table if you like that sort of thing. The sound system was excellent to boot. Although I don't live in Long Beach, California, I will return to Alex's.
