Excellent food, good service and the best selection of draught beer you will find in SoCal. The first time I saw their selection of draught beer I thought there way no way it could be fresh but I could not have been more wrong. Their Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse is the best hefeweizen I have ever tasted and possibly the best beer I ever drank. I try a different entree every time I go and have enjoyed everything. Yard House onion rings are one of the most popular appetizers and once you try them you know why. All the appetizers are wonderful. The Long Beach location overlooks the harbor and the outside seating provides a great view.
I hightly recommend this place, if you go during happy hour (Mon-Thurs 3-6) they have a whole list of appetizers and entres for only 6 bucks. If you do go, get the chicken lettuce wraps or the firecracker wings, my boyfriend i get that all the time. The customer service is great everytime i go, and not to mention the beer selection, HUGE. you have to try it out.
Boycott this place. The Yard House discriminates against people who only carry a consul identification card, they won't let you in even if you're 21+. The person that carded us claimed he'd lose his liquor license if he allowed that.

the liquor license, maybe not, but quite possibly his job. With the amount of beer and liquor that they carry I cant blame them for having such a strict identification policy! Boycott huh, why because your I.D. was expired? The Yard House is an amazing place, with an overwhelming selection of beer, liquor, and food. Please go and enjoy, but donât forget your identification as Orlando reminds us!
If your only form of identification is a consular i.d. card I don't blame them for refusing to serve you. You can pick those up on just about any corner in L.A. If they wouldn't serve you that means they probably would not employ you either which scores big points with me.I like them even more now that I read your review.
