| About: | The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing's greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit and relive the excitement of The Race of the Century . We excel in offering the best grades of meat and extremely fresh seafood prepared by our longtime executive chef that would delight even the most discriminating of taste. Some of the menu highlights include the Bacon Wrap Filet, Delmonico New York, Prime Rib and Shrimp Scampi. We offer a wide selection of wines by the bottle and by the glass. Relax and enjoy a fine cognac or single malt scotch on our patio, or take in a sporting event on one of our three new plasma screen television sets. Dining at The Derby can only be compared to the feeling of holding the winning ticket when you smile and know that you made the right bet. |

the owner of the Deby has kept the excellence going for decades, i have been world wide, from here to europe, i give the Derbys filet wrapped in bacon a 5 star! great bar for that perfect martini, and if horse racing is of interest they have a unreal collection ,though short now due to the seabiscuit movie, go enjoy !
Impressive bacon wrapped filet mignon. They also have marvelous french onion soup. I also like the horse racing memorabilia.
For the most part I was not impressed with this Steakhouse. The salad tasted like it was out of a bag and the potatoes were plain. The ribeye I order was in fact cooked perfectedly and delicious. I do not agree with the pricing as I have had better for about half the price.
