I Love this place! The atmosphere is very nice. Anytime I think of going out with my girlfriends, I think of this place! Food is always good and service is good as well. At times they can be very packed but thats because they're awsome!

I have eaten here 5 times and had the same experience....good food, poor service, nice atmosphere. Eat here if you need the time to work up your appetite b/c the service is slow and the food takes a while to come to your table. You literally have to beg to get a refill on your water.

Mi Piace really means my pleasure, but it wasn't my pleasure dining for lunch at the restaurant. The place was recommended by someone who worked at the Sheraton Hotel. My first choice was to go across the street to Louise's Tratoria, but my daughter and I wanted to try a new place. What a mistake! The Sheraton Hotel worker helped us set up a 2 o'clock reservation. We got there about 20 minutes before 2. The hostess seated us right away. This was the good part. After being seated, we waited almost 30 minutes before anyone came to take our order. When a waiter finally came to our table, he was pleasant but seemed rushed. My daughter and I ordered drinks. A different waiter came with a drink for my daughter. The drink slid off the tray that he carried almost spilling over on me. Ice splattered all over the floor. The waiter caught the glass to keep it from hitting the floor. He went back to get another drink for my daughter. When he returned with the drink, the glass looked as though it had gone swimming in a swimming pool, because the liquid was not only in the glass but all over it. I told my daughter to ask for a different drink because of the condition of the glass plus the straw was defunct.

Later, we finally got our food. The fries were great! Soon after, a young lady who worked in the restaurant and a man in a black suit walked near our table to a window. They were discussing the shade that covered the window near us. The young lady pulled the shade up without looking around to see if the sunlight was not shining on anyone's face. Well, it was shining on my face. I said, "Excuse me!" "The sun is shining on my face!" "Can you pull the shade down please?" She complied but the man who was with her seem to have an attitude. He looked at me with a grimace and walked away without saying anything. So one can see, Mi Piace is not going to be recommended by me. When my daughter suggested that we leave after waiting so long for service, we should have done so. No, I wanted to give the place a chance and chose to stay there. I'll follow her lead the next time.
