I don't normally write reviews but wanted to let readers know how wonderful this CDC really is. We were referred by a single mother of 2 boys who gave rave reviews and she was right. We have 2 children there, both started when they were 4 mos old. Our son is now 3 1/2 and daughter is 13 mos. Both are there full time. This center may seem large on the first visit but the way it's set up, the kids have a home area and then other areas to explore. Infants are completely separate and they have separate playgrounds with age appropriate activities. Their teacher/child ratio exceeds the CA state ratio. The teachers are happy which makes for happy kids. The owner, Michael, is very approachable. I see him regularly out and about the center. The director Vivian is also equally approachable and knows all the childrens' names. Initially my husband and I thought daycare was a place to drop your kids off but Kids Klub is so much more and worth it! They do so many things with the kids and offer them so much more than we could at home. They will be more than ready for kindergarten. This place was started by parents who were frustrated when they went to find daycare for their own children. They pay attention to details and offer the very best, as they want for their own kids, to their families. They have a wait list for a reason. I honestly don't understand a couple of the negative comments left because I strongly disagree. As for the play yard being all cement? Not true. They have plenty of shade, a real grass area, large sand box area, swing area with wood chips, covered patio where they sometimes eat lunch or do activities and water play in the summer. Indoors they have a science room with live animals including turtles, iguana, lizards, snakes, salt water fish, and fresh water fish. They have a library room, theatre room complete with dress up clothes, general store, large circle area, etc. I hope others find this information helpful. In the end, you have to check them out yourself. Take a tour for yourself. I see some very happy faces on the kids, staff and parents every day.
My daughter is very smart and get bored easily. I tried two other summer camp programs before coming to Kids Klub and they stunk. My daughter has been there now for 3 summers and loves it! We even moved out of the area but we go out of our way to get her there. There hasn't been a single day that I have picked up my drama queen daugther and had to hear about her bickering with other kids or "this one did this and that one did that". It seems to me they just keep the kids busy and focused on having fun. That is what I pay for and that is what I get. The counselors are high energy and fun, they are not babysitters. I have never had a problem communicating to staff or even speaking to the owner. I will agree with another reviewer that the girls at the front desk have attitudes.
that's just awful
all these "good" reviews sound like it could be the owner of this company. you should put them out of business for other children's sake.
