Yes Please. Avocado burger with Swiss cheese and an ice cold Sam Aadams for $8. Can't beat that with a bat.My burger was juicy and loaded with a huge piece of avocado.
I am eager to try other menu items including their salads which appear to be scrumptious. This is one of the few places I've reviewed lately sober and I must say, I can't wait come back. This is good "man food". You know stories over burgers and beers.
Highly recommended for male bonding sessions.
SO Good!: Oh this place is so delicious. The portions are HUGE so go in with an appetite. Pastrami dips and burgers are excellent, fries are delicious... the menu is so extensive I'm not sure how you could possibly try it all, but stick with the basics and you won't be sorry.
Hungry? Like the Wolfe!: It's not as if the owner of this Pasadena joint ran out of coyote meat and substituted it with that of its canine cousin. But carnivores in the greater Los Angeles area certainly have a selection of various grinds of meat be it beef, turkey or chicken manifested as patties, tube steaks or julienned. Not since the erstwhile Pita Feast franchise have burger aficionados enjoyed the experience of erecting their own sandwiches. The establishment on Lake Ave. just north of Colorado Blvd. is an oasis amidst a wasteland of fast-food "dive-throughs." Accoutrements such as whole chiles, freshly sliced red onions, even Worcestershire sauce are neatly arranged at the condiment bar. Steak fry fans will appreciate the wedge-cut potatoes and there actually is a dessert menu that consists of more than just store-bought cookies. The only drawback is the parking situation there, but this is to be expected in a neighborhood that hosts the world's largest sleepover every New Year's Eve. If you can find an available spot, try to sit in the patio of Wolfe Burgers; it's literally a breath of fresh air unless you really enjoy the smoke of battle wafting from the grill. Credit cards are accepted but they take no reservations. This is the best burger in Pasadena, Altadena, Monrovia and the rest of the West San Gabriel Valley.
