Truth be told: This place is no longer around and went out of business three years ago according to the man who worked there. It has become "Frank & Joes Southern Smokehouse". Me and my friends stayed and decided to try out the menu. In short, the food was generic. Ãtouffée looked radioactive. Rice was definately overcooked. (There were some crunches in some bites.) Crawfish was tiny. Tasted awful. The gumbo was extremely plain. (Ordering it with crab meat was a waste.) And the triple platter with fried shrimp, catfish, and crawfish, was less than satisfactory. The boudin and hush puppies were not bad.

A Taste of Louisiana: Without doubt, THE place to go in the San Gabriel Valley if you're a Louisiana ex-patriot or you have a taste for Cajun/Creole food. If flavorful gumbo, jambalaya, ettufay and buodin are too much for your palate, the baby back ribs, tri-tip and fried catfish will keep you coming back for more. My wife is a "swamp girl," born in Louisiana, and when she gets homesick, she heads straight for Cajun Way for a little laughin' and scratchin' with the owners (Louisanna-born brothers Frank & Joe), a bottle of Blackened Voodoo and a plate of "perfectly" fried catfish and hush puppies...âLaissez le bon temps rouler!â

Frank & Joe's closed too - shortly after you posted this review. Their service was awful, it's no wonder.
