Vive is awesome! The music is great, my girlfriends and I love to dance and this place is perfect! The dancefloor is a little small but the atmoshphere makes up for it. The martini's are tasty and the bartenders were very accomodating and friendly. Definetly going back!!
If I could give this place negative stars I would. I have never had as bad of an experience as I did in this place. I went there for a girlfriends birthday. My husband and I were the first to arrive at 7:30 pm and when we walked in this place was empty while every other place on the street was packed. That should have been our first sign to run! We sit at the bar to wait for the rest of our party and the bartender asks us what we'd like to drink. I tell him I like a glass of pinot noir and his response, "I don't know if you want the pinot because the bottle we have was opened on Thursday. I can give you a taste to see if you like it". To which I replied in total and utter shock "No thanks, I'll have a glass of Cab instead". Never have I ever been told this at a bar. That should have been our second clue to run!. Our third clue came when my husband asked the bartender to recommend his favorite dish at the place because this was our first time. He response, "I usually go in the back and have them make be a burrito". Really???
When our party finally arrived we were starving. The menu looked good and we all found something we liked; however what we ordered and what was delivered were two different things. First off, the food took forever and we were still the only people in the place! Second, I ordered stuffed chicken with asparagus risotto and what I got was a hard dry piece of chicken that looked like it had been sitting out for days with spanish rice. Everybody else's dishes were also something different from what they ordered.
To sum up....the food was disgusting, the service was bad, the manager was a jerk who tried to intimidate my girlfriend who's birthday it was by taking her outside with another male employee. DO NOT go to this place!
This review is for those of you who think that Vive Restuarnat Lounge is great. IT STINKS! First of all, the DJ thinks he knows what he is doing. HE SUCKS! He mixes music that doesn't even sound good. But then what do you expect when you have an amateur. The waitresses are rude and disrespectful. Oh don't get me started on the Armenian bouncers, they are the worse. Over all I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemies.
